The Tech South West Awards celebrate the best in tech from across the region, shining a light on the game-changing innovation taking place in the South West tech ecosystem. This year has been incredibly competitive, with high-quality entries across the board. The shortlists were decided by independent judges working in the sector, including tech leaders, cluster representatives, award sponsors, investors, and tech educators.

Since our inception in 2009, IT Champion has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing IT-managed support providers in the South West region. Our journey has been marked by small beginnings, constant growth, and the best year-to-date. We provide lightning-fast, people-focused, managed IT support and expertise to organisations of all shapes and sizes. With clients in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA, our team of 30 people spans expertise in IT, Cyber Security, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Marketing.

Our team is our secret weapon and what makes us unique. Since 2011, we have helped 16 apprentices, nearly half of our team, get into IT. This year, we welcomed a record four apprentices to the IT Champion team. We continually receive 5-star ratings from our clients, with 37 sharing their 5 out of 5 rating on Google. We are among some of the UK’s prominent MSPs to have achieved the Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work designation.

In 2021, many clients sought better, more secure, and flexible ways to share information between their customers and users. Our work delivering collaboration platforms using SharePoint has continued to grow. In the last year alone, we have delivered data and collaboration solutions for over 30 clients, including the biggest project spanning four international locations for a global management consultancy.

Our exceptional growth has been in part due to IT projects with clients in Education, non-profit, and financial sectors. Our biggest 2024 IT infrastructure project was for a South West Multi-Academy Trust – we replaced their entire network infrastructure, delivering stability, increased capacity, premium cyber security, and ease of maintenance.

As the final piece in our year of growth, we are excited to move to new offices in early 2025. These state-of-the-art facilities will provide our team with a modern, collaborative workspace – designed to foster innovation and productivity. The new offices are a testament to our continued expansion and commitment to providing the best possible environment for our employees and clients.
