In a display of agility, coordination, and team spirit, IT Champion’s squad made a sound impact at the Bigwave Business Games’ Sports Day.
Last night’s Sports Day event at the Riverside Leisure Centre was nothing short of exhilarating, as IT Champion’s full team brought their A-game to the fourth event of the Bigwave Business Games. Our team of six, featuring Emma, Scarlett, Morgan, Tom, Will, and Sam, participated in a series of traditional and inventive activities, earning us 14 points and bringing our total to a commendable 65 points.
This places us 12th out of 16 teams, a testament to our team’s dedication and spirit.
The evening was filled with laughter and light-hearted competition, as noted by an organizer of the Games who said,
“What a great night, the 3-legged race has to be the funniest event I’ve seen, bless you all🤣. And a heated chat over the Egg and Spoon race ending in rock paper scissors 😆.”
The camaraderie and sportsmanship were palpable, with teams competing in Human Table Football, Shooting Zone, Mini Golf, Dodgeball, and more.
Congratulations are in order for WWA, who emerged as the winners of Sports Day, with Smart Estate Agent and Progressive following closely in second and third places, respectively. We applaud their achievements and the competitive spirit of all teams involved.
As IT Champion, we not only gained participation points but also kept our title in the Games. These events are not just about winning but about promoting physical activity, teamwork, and friendly competition while fostering a sense of community spirit.
