Last night, on the lush greens of Exeter Golf Club, IT Champion marked its third event in the Bigwave Business Games with a spirited round of golf.
Despite a last-minute lineup change, our client managers, Emma Bowden and Scarlett Lipscomb, stepped up to the tee, showcasing true team spirit as they filled in for injured teammates.
While the leaderboard may show a slight descent, dropping a few spots, it’s the participation points that truly reflect the dedication of our team. Thanks to Emma and Scarlett’s sterling efforts, IT Champion remains a contender in the Games, embodying the essence of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The event was a series of golf-based challenges designed for fun and friendly competition, proving that one need not be a golf pro to enjoy the game. Teams of two tackled various tasks, from chipping and putting to the whimsical ‘Go Fish’ challenge, all under the expert guidance of The Exeter Golf and Country Club’s staff.
As the sun set on the course, it wasn’t just about the points scored or the positions gained. It was about the laughter shared, the bonds strengthened, and the memories created. IT Champion may have moved down the leaderboard, but we’ve certainly risen in team spirit and unity.
