IT Champion Raises £824 for Local Hospice Care
We smash our target for Hospiscare Devon in Bigwave Business Games 2024
We’re thrilled to announce that we have raised an incredible £824 for Hospiscare Devon as part of the Bigwave Business Games 2024. This fantastic achievement more than doubled our initial target of £350 in just four weeks.
Our team pulled out all the stops with a variety of fun and creative fundraising activities:
1. Monday Cake Sales: Who can resist a slice of homemade goodness for a great cause?
2. 10-Mile Sponsored Walk: Tom Jacobs, Our Cloud and Infrastructure Director laced up his walking boots for an impressive 10 mile fast trek to work.
3. Super-Friday Extravaganza: We hosted a day packed with exciting events including a raffle, bingo, and tombola. This not only boosted our fundraising total but also earned IT Champion 10 extra points in the Games.
We’re particularly proud that our efforts will directly benefit a Devon family, providing them with access to Hospiscare’s expert support and care.
The icing on the cake?
We placed second out of 16 companies for the highest total funds raised.
On Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ellie Williams and Lauren Butt from Hospiscare to our Exeter office. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our achievement together and reflect on the positive impact these funds will have.
